Quinnisms
After scraping her knee pretty badly: "the purple blood is the hurtiest blood."
While insisting on carrying a fairly heavy basket of groceries at Safeway: "Wait up Mom. You know I'm not as young as I used to be."
After catching a fly in her hands at Judi's house: "I'm going to write about this in my journal tonight!"
In the car after several minutes of thoughtful silence: "You can always tell when they're going to show something old-fashioned in movies, because they play harmonica music."
While getting dressed in the morning: "You know, tights are just socks that are pants."
Watching a guy driving a motorized scooter: "Look, that scooter is motorfied."
On the topic of the potty dance:
Sitting at a stoplight observing a jogger who was running in place on the corner while he waited for the light to change: “Look Mom, that guy is doing the potty dance.”
While doing the potty dance herself: "I don't have to go potty; I'm just doing a different kind of dance."

Fourth of July
Ready to ride in a bike parade!
Wait, Quinn has to try on the mask that Ireland made first.
Yum, ice cream cones.
Holidays are exhausting!

Mail myself to you
Quinn thinks it's been too long since she's seen Gramma and Papa. She wishes she could mail herself to them:
Lyrics:
I'm gonna wrap myself in paper,
I'm gonna dab myself with glue,
Stick some stamps on top of my head;
I'm gonna mail myself to you.
I'm gonna tie me up in red string,
I'm gonna tie blue ribbons too,
Climb up in my mail box;
I'm gonna mail myself to you.
When you see me in your mail box,
Cut the strings and let me out;
Wash the glue off of my fingers,
Stick some bubble gum in my mouth.

And ... Quinn wanted a picture of the giant cat who keeps terrorizing Thomas and his railroad friends:
Quinn goes to the mountains
...for highway cleanup!
She picks up some trash, but mostly finds cool rocks, flowers, and moths.
After cleanup, she goes and climbs some rocks.
